Sara Bareilles

Went to the Sara Bareilles concert and man she's a great singer! If only she could shape up and STOP using the F word!! Urrrrrr!!! That drives me NUTS!! Plus, I saw KIDS in the audience... come on... YOU DON'T NEED TO USE FOWL LANGUAGE TO BE "COOL"!!!!!  Other than the whole potty mouth thing... the concert was great! Oh and one more thing... women that want to go to concerts over the age of 25, PLEASE act your age! A "lady" having a mid-life crisis, I swear, was drunk (before the concert even began) and wanted to be my best friend. She kept dropping her alcohol all over me and my friends. I finally left! Because if I didn't I was going to brawl with this older woman. And since she was intoxicated and really couldn't defend herself.... I thought it best to enjoy the concert in the back where it was nice and cool and drunkard free. :)  Watch Sara's new song on YouTube, it's awesome!! Lamb of God

My Mom, my aunts- Kristie and Patty, my sisters- Erin, Tara and Brianne and I went to a show called the LAMB OF GOD.

HARRY POTTER!

Some of you might be surprised that I had never read Harry Potter. Well, I just read it and LOVE it!!  I'm excited for all my witches and warlock dreams to end.  They were starting to FREAK me out! I can't believe it took me this long to jump on the bandwagon and become a Harry Potter fan.  The reason I wanted to read the books is because one of my friends, Big Ash, said that the movies are not that great. BUT, I LOVE the movies.  Now I understand why these books are so good. They took out so much while making the movie.  Also, I have to say that I LOVE Fred and George! So funny!!  These books are packed full of adventure, friendship, SCARINESS, love, self discovery, and a ton of other things. If you have not read the series, I would highly suggest reading them before the next movie comes out.  It only took me a month to read seven books! Easy read!!

Oh ya, and part one of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows comes out into theaters on November 19th!!

Oh my heck!! I LOVE long lashes!!!  I should have taken an even closer picture for you to look at... oops!! Let me just say, I get stopped all the time by people to say they LOVE my eyelashes! hehe! They're fake! But they look awesome! I love how full they are, I love the fact that I don't have to put on mascara anymore!! LOVE it!!!  Most of the time I don't even have to put makeup on because it looks like I'm wearing it with these lashes! These semi-perment lashes are perfect for special occasions like weddings, proms (or really any dance), reunions! It really is perfect for EVERYDAY life (it seriously saves me a TON of time to get ready)!  If you're interested in the girl who did mine here is her email address! send her an email and she'll get back to you and set up a time to do your lovely lashes!!!

Gracie's Baptism!

I can't believe she's EIGHT!!

My niece Gracie was baptized on August 7th and what a great day that was.  I'm so happy that Gracie has made that decision.  She is such a sweet girl and I love her so much!!!!  For those of you who want to know why baptism by immersion is so important to us I left a little expaination.

Baptism by immersion in water by one having authority is the first saving ordinance of the gospel and is necessary for an individual to become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and to receive eternal salvation. All who seek eternal life must follow the example of the Savior by being baptized and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Being baptized is such a great gift given to us.  Not only to have our sins wiped away, but also having the gift of the Holy Ghost to help lead and teach us.  If you would like to learn more about what I believe in then please go to this link.

I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change

If you're wanting to see a HILARIOUS play then go and see this one.  Breba, Big Ash and I went to see this play.  I seriously haven't laughed in a play this hard in a long time.  This hilarious musical comedy says everything you have ever secretly thought about dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives and in-laws, but were afraid to admit!  Breba's friend played a part in this entertaining play.  WOW! She has a great voice!!

Over a month?

It's been over a month since I last blogged? What the heck!?!?! Where does the time go? Since it's been a "little" while since my last post, maybe I should update real quick. :)

Went to the Diamond Backs Game with some of my friends.  I am NOW in LOVE with Jackson! But who wouldn't from where we were sitting? haha!

Miranda Panda had a layover in AZ! So of course we HAD to have lunch at Cafe Rio!!  

Watched Ava on her Birthday and had a grand time watching Little Mermaid and letting her eat ANY treat she wanted! hehe!

Went to Kristie and Patty's for the 4th of July weekend and went swimming! And because Patty was hiding from me... I decided to use the picture I actually got of her! hahaha!! (Love you Patty!)

Celebrated my BIRTHDAY! Yipee! Spent the night with Er-bear and Parker baby! We woke up EARLY and played with the cutest little boy! Luck for us we ALL took a nap and then went and worked out at Erin's gym. (by the way she MADE me take this class that I thought I was literally going to die from) Erin's cool and took me to get a pedicure and bought me lunch! GIRLS TIME!!

After a FUN day over on the east side it was time to go back to the west side of town!!! Erin and Parker came too! We went to dinner with a few of my friends! Thanks you guys! I had so much fun at Pita Jungle! Yum Yum!

Went to YumBeri one night after working out! It was sooooo refreshing! Yummy!

And then the following night I went with my family for DINNER!! That's right everyone! DINNER!! hahaha!!

Welp, that's what's been going on in my neck of the woods! Hope everyone is doing good! I'll try and post again soon! TRY is the main word! :)

Just Say NO!

I've been getting my eyebrows threaded at the mall and it's been WONDERFUL!! I don't have to deal with the rashes I get from waxing.  Well, one day I was like I HATE PEACH FUZZ!! So I decided to have my entire face threaded to remove ALL peach fuzz from my face.  The girl that did my face was like "you can't see the peach fuzz that well because it's blonde"... but nooooooo I said "I CAN!"  What a dummy!! I should have listened because this did NOT end well. I know someone who had their face done and they didn't have any problems or side effects from the procedure.  So, like a dummy, I thought nothing would happen to me.  After sitting in a chair for about 20-30 minutes it was all done.  My face felt really smooth and I LOVED it! So of course I told all my girlfriends to go have it done...

When I noticed what a HIDEOUS monster I looked like I recalled my message to all my girlfriends and told them some things I should have considered before having my face fully threaded... let me list a few: FACE BREAKOUTS into a MAJOR rash,  never know I might turn out with a black bearded face, my face has no protection from the elements, my face is a little too smooth, and will the hair on my face grow back prickly????  AHHHH!!!!!! I MISS MY PEACH FUZZ!!!

I can actually report back that my skin is back to normal.  It took almost TWO weeks for it to clear up.  I can see a few specs of the rash on my face, but it's nothing compared to what it was... THANK GOODNESS!!  And the only reason I can share these HORRIBLE pictures with you is because this TRIAL is done in my life!! 

So lesson learned... I WILL NOT BE SO VAIN!

It's someones 2nd BIRTHDAY today...

 I remember June 9, 2008 like it was yesterday! Let me give you a glimps of that really exiciting day!

First, I woke up to these two cute kids smiling at me saying that they're going to have a sister!!

Then the best part was going down to the hospital when Ava was being born!!  Meeting my little namesake for the first time was one of the BEST things!!  Look how cute she was... SO TINY!!!!

And when her brothers and sister finally got to meet little Ava LYNN... they were all so excited and giddy!! I'm so happy to have this little girl in my life!

I got a package in the mail!!!

Oh. My. Gosh!! I got a package in the mail?  It has my name on it. This can't really be for me... YEPPPPPPPPP it is!!!!

Does that say Georgetown Cupcake??? What the heck!! Miranda Panda, you're in BIG trouble for sending this to us... First, I know that shipping this delectable treat was outrageously expensive;  second,  I'm pretty sure I just went an entire size up in my clothing by just looking at the box and third, you just bought me a surprise when you were here in AZ!!  BUT... YOU'RE SUPER COOL for sending it too!!

Georgetown Cupcakes KNOWS how to ship the goods!! Look at that packaging! It stayed nice and cool and stayed in the spot it was designed to be in.  You guys ROCK my world!!

So if you read my last post you noticed that I had the Sprinkles chocolate peanut butter cupcake from them.  Let me just say that GEORGETOWN CUPCAKE totally schooled those fools!!  I'm pretty sure that I will NEVER eat at sprinkles again and only dream about GEORGETOWN cupcakes every night!! SERIOUSLY EAT A GEORGETOWN CUPCAKE!! It will ROCK YOUR WORLD!
