Just Say NO!

I've been getting my eyebrows threaded at the mall and it's been WONDERFUL!! I don't have to deal with the rashes I get from waxing.  Well, one day I was like I HATE PEACH FUZZ!! So I decided to have my entire face threaded to remove ALL peach fuzz from my face.  The girl that did my face was like "you can't see the peach fuzz that well because it's blonde"... but nooooooo I said "I CAN!"  What a dummy!! I should have listened because this did NOT end well. I know someone who had their face done and they didn't have any problems or side effects from the procedure.  So, like a dummy, I thought nothing would happen to me.  After sitting in a chair for about 20-30 minutes it was all done.  My face felt really smooth and I LOVED it! So of course I told all my girlfriends to go have it done...

When I noticed what a HIDEOUS monster I looked like I recalled my message to all my girlfriends and told them some things I should have considered before having my face fully threaded... let me list a few: FACE BREAKOUTS into a MAJOR rash,  never know I might turn out with a black bearded face, my face has no protection from the elements, my face is a little too smooth, and will the hair on my face grow back prickly????  AHHHH!!!!!! I MISS MY PEACH FUZZ!!!

I can actually report back that my skin is back to normal.  It took almost TWO weeks for it to clear up.  I can see a few specs of the rash on my face, but it's nothing compared to what it was... THANK GOODNESS!!  And the only reason I can share these HORRIBLE pictures with you is because this TRIAL is done in my life!! 

So lesson learned... I WILL NOT BE SO VAIN!

It's someones 2nd BIRTHDAY today...

 I remember June 9, 2008 like it was yesterday! Let me give you a glimps of that really exiciting day!

First, I woke up to these two cute kids smiling at me saying that they're going to have a sister!!

Then the best part was going down to the hospital when Ava was being born!!  Meeting my little namesake for the first time was one of the BEST things!!  Look how cute she was... SO TINY!!!!

And when her brothers and sister finally got to meet little Ava LYNN... they were all so excited and giddy!! I'm so happy to have this little girl in my life!

I got a package in the mail!!!

Oh. My. Gosh!! I got a package in the mail?  It has my name on it. This can't really be for me... YEPPPPPPPPP it is!!!!

Does that say Georgetown Cupcake??? What the heck!! Miranda Panda, you're in BIG trouble for sending this to us... First, I know that shipping this delectable treat was outrageously expensive;  second,  I'm pretty sure I just went an entire size up in my clothing by just looking at the box and third, you just bought me a surprise when you were here in AZ!!  BUT... YOU'RE SUPER COOL for sending it too!!

Georgetown Cupcakes KNOWS how to ship the goods!! Look at that packaging! It stayed nice and cool and stayed in the spot it was designed to be in.  You guys ROCK my world!!

So if you read my last post you noticed that I had the Sprinkles chocolate peanut butter cupcake from them.  Let me just say that GEORGETOWN CUPCAKE totally schooled those fools!!  I'm pretty sure that I will NEVER eat at sprinkles again and only dream about GEORGETOWN cupcakes every night!! SERIOUSLY EAT A GEORGETOWN CUPCAKE!! It will ROCK YOUR WORLD!

A MINI VACATION

Miranda came into town for work, so what does that mean? Well, that means FUN times!! Of course Big Ash and I said we would help her use ALL of her hotel amenities out of the goodness of our hearts. So we worked out at the awesome gym, ate sweets from the lobby,

went swimming (of course),

wore our robes around and laughed a LOT, and had free breakfast!!

We ate some more unhealthy treats (which was ok...)!!!

Of course we had some more fun driving out to Mesa basically EVERY DAY to eat at Cafe Rio. We did some damage at the mall... hehe! But overall I LOVED this vacation! Thanks Miranda for treating us to a very fun 10 days in the valley of the sun!!

Vegas baby!!

Went to Vegas to visit this lovely gal, Miranda!! She had a business trip and so as good friends Big Ash and I went and hung out at the pool and used her VIP card at the spa and free buffet!!

We DID get ready one night and go out for a very FUN concert! Miranda's brother hooked us up!! SWEET! Don't you LOVE Big Ash's jacket???

Miranda and I waiting for the concert to begin... you're so cute Miranda Panda!And the concert begins! Yes we went to the John Mayor concert! He put on a good show... and he LOVED showing off his tattoo's! :) Thanks Nathan!!! We finally had to say goodbye to this wonderful weekend with Miranda. :( BUT it wasn't as painful to say goodbye this trip... because we're going to party it up at the end of this month too!! YEAH!!!!!!!!! See you soon Miranda!! Oh ya.... ONE OF THE BEST THINGS ABOUT THIS TRIP... I only spent $26 FOR EVERYTHING!! (that's kind of nice when you don't have much mula to spend)

Fun in UT!!!

We drove to St. George and stayed the night with Em's relatives... and when I woke up this is what I saw. AMAZING.

Ash, Celena and I were trying to HURRY to SLC to make it to Miranda's Birthday party... when we got lost and found our way to this gorgeous temple.We FINALLY made it to the party!! We were reunited with Miranda Panda and Annie. Along with some wonderful Shurtleff's!!!!Miranda looking adorable at Annie's Bachelorett pad!!! hehe!!I had to put this picture up of Big Ash. LOVE the jacket!!! So freakin' cute!!Ready to party it up in SLC baby!!
Eating at Cafe Rio for the SECOND time of our trip... mind you that this was the SECOND day we were there! haha!! We had it ONCE more before we left UT!!! Big Ash and I listened to a concert in the Tabernacle. It was very peaceful. We were waiting for the lovely Bride and Groom to come out of the temple!And here's my favorite Armstrong family!! Congrats Jen Bunny and Curtis! After the wedding, the girls and I went up to The Garden Restaurant on top of the Joseph Smith Building. Sooooo YUMMY!! The tomato soup was the bomb!!! Reception Time!! Tom Cat is such a good sport with all our WACKY ideas... hehe!!

Finally, Big Ash get's her walk with all THREE dogs... haha!! We of course had to end our trip seeing Annie and Merrilyn's parent! We LOVE them! They'll crack you up on any given day!!
