Best 27th Birthday a Girl Could Ask For!!!!

It's time to PARTY!!!

I turned 27 today and I feel GREAT!!!! I started my day off with breakfast in bed!! What more can a girl ask for than to be serenaded by her family and brought pancakes in the shape of 27??? My sister took pictures of that... but really I don't think you want to see those pictures... I'm kinda scary lookin' in the morning! hehe!

After breakfast we all got ready and went to Silverstrand Beach!!! It was really nice... well, the beach isn't that clean... but it's quiet and the waves are nice! We had a blast!
Some of the Highlights of today were:
We met our friend Katie and her family at the beach.
It was fun laying out and talking
Playing with Ava Bean... Dang she's CUTE!!!
Dax falling asleep on me!! LOVE THAT!!! He's so snuggly!!
Watching T.K. and Katie ride in on the waves!! Good Job girls!!
Watching the kids play... SO SO SO CUTE!!
Receiving BIRTHDAY CALLS!!
Dinner with the family at Old Town Mexican Cafe!! Yum! Yum!
(but I will say that the service SUCKED!!! We waited 40 minutes at the table before our server even came over to take our order... REALLY!! WHATEVER!!!)
Giving Ava her bottle... it's good snuggle time!!!Going to Ghirardelli for a BROWNIE HOT FUDGE SUNDAE!!! May all my wishes come true...

Basically, I had a GREAT day... I could NOT ask for one single thing to change!! Thanks everyone for making it great with all your birthday wishes! I really could not ask for any better friends and family then what I already have!! Love you all and can't wait to share my 27th year with you!!

Ava's 1st Birthday!!

Can you believe Ava Bean is a year old now!! I seriously can't!!!! I know her birthday was at the beginning of the month... I'm a little slow at blogging... but anyways... I just wanted to post a little something about this girly!

When Tara and Aaron told me they were prego again I was SOOOOOO EXCITED!!! I was even more excited when they told me they were having a girl and giving her my middle name!! I will say... I think I got teary eyed... I felt so honored that they wanted to name one of their cherished blessings after me. And then... Ava was born on June 9th! What a blessed day that was. When I saw Ava Lynn for the first time I didn't want to give her up! (Not that that's unusual... I pretty much like to hog my nieces and nephews.)
Ava's so petite and BEAUTIFUL!!! She's calm and never cries! I love cuddling with her and taking as many kisses as she'll give me! I'm so thankful to be her aunt (FYI... FAVORITE AUNT)!! I remember one night I was over at my sisters house and I was laying on the bed with Ava and we were just talking away... I was trying to get Ava to say my name. Let me just say that was one of the BEST nights of my life!! When that little girl said my name and knew she was doing something cute... she was ADORABLE! Her eyes just lit up!! Thanks Ava for saying my name before anyone else... well minus dada... but that's an easy name to say!

So I made Ava Lynn her first birthday cake!! It was perfect... pink and small!!!! What more can a girl ask for???

Erin's Baby Shower!!

I know that he's going to be so ADORABLE!! Now because Parker is Erin's first baby my sisters and I decided to go BIG for her first baby shower... here's a preview of what was prepared...

It all began with the Thank You treats... I made CAKE POPS!! They were soooooo YUMMY!! I stayed up until 4am and finished them. (as you can tell I'm a NIGHT OWL)

My sister Tara came over and wrote "Thank You" on all the circles that I punched the "night" before!! I only allowed her to do this because she has nice handwriting... haha!! I'm so picky!!

Then I was off to make the LEMON COOKIES!! Luckily I had a couple helpers that rolled the dough so it would be ready to cook the next day!

I think someone had some fun with the powder sugar...

I LOVE that GRACIE came over with her apron on and ready to WORK!! Thanks GRACIE and COLTON!!! And of course... we had our court jester for the day too!! Little Miss. Ava Bean! ADORABLE!!

Memorial Day!!

I know... I'm behind on my blogging... what's new??? So Memorial Day was nice and relaxing. My family went over to Roger and Dana's house and went swimming and had a YUMMY BBQ!!!! Just wanted to show you some of the pictures I snapped of the day... I actually didn't take that many. :)
