Memorial Day!!

I know... I'm behind on my blogging... what's new??? So Memorial Day was nice and relaxing. My family went over to Roger and Dana's house and went swimming and had a YUMMY BBQ!!!! Just wanted to show you some of the pictures I snapped of the day... I actually didn't take that many. :)

No Doubt!!!!

YEEEESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!! I went to the NO DOUBT concert!!!! The concert was AMAZING!!!!
Are you jealous??? Well, you should be... hahaha!!

Paramore opened for them and they were great!!!! I really wish I could pull of orange/red hair like her!!We had amazing seats 2nd section 2nd row right behind where a wheel chair would be... this girl (I think) named... um... Pat... LOVED to dance in that spot! haha!! It was sometimes more entertaining to watch Pat then the show. I have video... I need someone to show me how to post video clips on this thing... because you're gonna freaking LOVE Pat's moves!!Gwen freaking ROCKS!!!!!!There comes a time when you should give up the tutu... and the time is NOW drummer boy!! NASTY... BUT SO PREDICTABLE!I didn't want the concert to end! They really know how to put on a GREAT show!And thanks Aaron for the great tickets!!

So many things to show you...

I had a blast this past week!!! REALLY!!!! First, I dropped my parents off at the airport... I'm so proud of them for getting on an airplane... good job kids!! Now I'm all ALONE at home... Empty Nester...

Last Friday night I went to girls night.... soooooooooooo fun!! A bunch of us girls went to Katie's house and I just have to say that someone was soooo SWEATY!! I don't know what was wrong with this person... but of course I didn't have my camera DOWN THERE at Katie's so I couldn't document this person!!!! I learned so much about life there and all the things I get to look forward to. HAHAHA!!!

I was also very lucky on Saturday night!! My sister had an extra ticket to see Brian Regan at the Dodge Theater... and of course I offered to take that ticket off her hands!! THANK YOU AARON JOHN!!! I'm sooooooo glad that you LOVE the Sherrif Posse events!!!!!!!

So T.K. and I had to pose outside the Dodge Theater... Thank you Ginny for taking this picture of us... and thank you Colin for being a good husband to your wife and dropping her off in front so she could be of assistance to us!!

I have to say that if you get a chance to go to a Brian Regan show... DO IT!! Just be aware your cheeks and your sides will hurt like no other!!!!

Monday for FHE we went to a park and had a JELLO slip n' slide... I would just like to "thank" Casey and Taylor for giving me a jello bath!! Seriously... I washed myself off before these pictures and I still was all goopy!! Thanks a LOT guys!!!!

Dang Taylor... you can jump!! And just so the blogging world knows... I have revenge in my heart... I'm going to get Casey, Taylor and Austin back!!! They won't even know what HIT them...On Tuesday Grandma and I baked these DELISH lemon cookies!!! YUMMY!! Grandma did such a good job putting all the items in the bowl and rolling the cookies into balls!! We had so much fun talking about when she use to teach the kids at church how to bake. Good Times!!
So our first batch didn't turn out so well...But these were Soooo YUMMY!! We actually made them for someone in my homeward... haha!! They NEVER made it... I'm looking at the empty plate right now!! oops!!! Grandma and I went and celebrated my cousin DeAnna's birthday and graduation today!! We decided to go to the movies and lunch... We all had a ton of fun and giggled a LOT!!!!

And now... here comes the graduate!!! Congrats DeAnna!!! You're a lucky girl to have BOTH your grandma's with you on your big day!!!

Glad I got to come and see you get your diploma and spend the day with you!!!!
So seriously... this has been a great week so far!! AND I'm looking forward to the REST of the week... which I KNOW I'll have to post about soon!!!!

GREAT EXAMPLES!!!

I have been so blessed in my life! I have a WONDERFUL MOTHER who has taught me, cared for me and continues to LOVE me!! I am so grateful for the great example my MOM is! I love talking and laughing with my MOTHER! She is the BEST person to tell a story to... she will ALWAYS LAUGH... I guess we have that in common!

Mother, I just want to let you know that I love you! I don't tell you that enough... but I hope you know that! I am so grateful that you have a sweet testimony of the gospel and share that with me and others around you. You truly are an example! THANKS FOR BEING THE BEST MOM A GIRL COULD EVER ASK FOR!!

I also want to thank my sisters for being such great examples to me too. I know that when the time comes for me to have children I can look at you girls and follow your lead. You all have a light that shines so bright and I am truly thankful to my Heavenly Father for blessing me with not one but THREE great sisters!! Thanks for always being there for me when I need a shoulder to lean on. I KNOW I was blessed to come to this family... and I will NEVER take that for granted. Know that I look up to ALL of you and I LOVE you guys sooooooo much! xOxO (I know I put the x's in there... but really I'm JUST giving you big HUGS!! hahaha...)

Happy Mother's Day!!

Another FUN couple of weeks!!

So the past couple of weeks have been packed with activities. I had a chance to take a break and relax and get a pedi with my friend Shelly!! We did what we know best... laugh and laugh some more!! You know what I really HATE when getting a pedicure??? I'll tell you... when the girl that's doing the pedi scrubs your arch of your foot... oh that KILLS!! It tickles soooooooo BAD!! I HATE THAT!!! But I LOVE everything else about getting a pedicure!! Thanks Shelly for taking a break with me... let's do it again soon!!

My dear friend Lisa got married to the love of her life Andy... I'm so happy for them. Lisa is getting ready to throw the bouquet... and just so you know... I totally had that bouquet... but someone (Celena) took it from me... even though I TOTALLY had it!!!!!

So here I am with two of my favorite lil' girls!! I made a deal with MATTIE MOO and GRACIE POO... that if they kept there rooms clean and got along with there siblings then I would take them to see the HANNAH MONTANA MOVIE!! Well, they were a "LITTLE" excited about this... they kept me posted the entire week on how there rooms were clean. hahaha! They LOVED the entire movie (so did I)!!! You should have seen them dancing to all the songs... I wish I would have recorded that!! HIL-AR-IOUS!!!! REALLY!!!

I got roped into going to a dance this last weekend... I know shocking!! And I dragged as many people along with me as I could!! It was actually fun when I loosened up... (well... as loosened up as I'll get at a dance :)

I was a little annoyed that a certain friend took a picture of me... but now I think I know the real subject he was capturing... haha! It reminds me of a little song that goes like this... "sweaty back... sweaty back... that girl has a sweaty back!!" (sing it to the tune of "smelly cat" the phoebe song from friends) hahaha!! Dang... I think someone had to have gotten her wet... also, do you think that guy could hold her any closer???? REALLY??? COME ON... CHURCH DANCE!!! Ashely, danced with the cutest guy... He was so funny! I think she said his name was Kyle or something... he was having the time of his life... and I'm pretty sure Big Ash was too!!!I love fun activities like these!! I wonder what will be happening next week... and Kaitlyn... if you're reading this you better believe that you're coming with me this time! Even if you do start your evening "early"...
Oh ya... if you're a YSA don't forget the EXTRAVAGANZA this Wednesday at 7 at the church building behind the institute building! It will be a BLAST!!!

CINDY'S BIRTHDAY DINNER AND STAKE CONFERENCE... ALL IN ONE!

With a fun group of friends we celebrated CINDY'S BIRTHDAY at Carrabba's Italian Restaurant. We all were sooooo EXCITED to tell Cindy what we LOVE MOST ABOUT HER!!! hehe!!! And CINDY was EATING it all up!! :)
